Pair of apothecary ceramic containers. Medicine Chemist Pair of lidded apothecary jars with inserts. About 110 and 140 mm.. 1850s
The larger one is Excellent. The inner lip has a flake. Little flake to rear rim and a couple of little impacts. Some scratches and minor marks. Crazed throughout. The insert is perfect with some crazing. The lid has a flake to the underside is good otherwise. The smaller one is Excellent, the body is great with some minro crazing, possible gold leaf wear. The insert is chipped around about a quarter of the rim. The lid is good with some heavier wear to gold band. Grade: N/A Estimate: $75 - 100
