Goldfields cricket buckle: Central ball over crossed bats with a set of stumps at each end. Sporting Cricket Rectangle cricket belt buckle. 80 x 52 mm. 1860s
Fair. A little mangled. Looks like it may have been bent at one stage, the straightening process has caused a split to the middle at the bottom in two parts. The right bottom at the end of the cricket bat and stumps looks like it has been hit hard with something causing a mangled folded dint. A few other bends and dints. There is no clasp on the underside of this one. Remains a decent example of a piece of our cricketing heritage, this is quite a large buckle. Grade: N/A Estimate: $30 - 50
