Good. A great piece of Australian pottery history, any items signed by A M Boyd are sought after (Arthur Merric Boyd). This aboriginal series are quite sought after as well, with the artist (Richard) featuring on several items of pottery by Boyd. This was made to hang on a wall, with holes in the rim underneath. Over about 70 mm across one of these holes there is a chunk missing, as can be seen in the photograph. Obviously, this does not effect the front of the plate. Some crazing. A chip to the right side look to have been discoloured to disguise it slightly. Quite a colourful piece, this is a must for any Australian pottery collector. Grade: N/A Estimate: $100 - 150
