Excellent. Very dirty, needs a thorough clean. The original lid and wire mechanism are in good working order, where the wire clamps on the pottery knob of the lid, the pottery has a large chip, this is hidden by the metal though. Small chip to inner lid. The main body of the jar is in great condition, with a good clean, this part will be near mint. Very interesting item. Grade: 8 Estimate: $40 - 60
