Jamboree Song Book / Boy Scouts / Wonga Park 1948 / Yarra Brae, Victoria. Books 1. Large format newspaper type magazine complete with an 8 page liftout from the Melbourne Herald at the time. Also contains a post supplement and some smaller format loose pages from 1956. 2. Small booklet containing popular songs. This book was given to a boy scout from Chatswood for the Jamboree held at Yarra Brae on the Yarra River near Wonga Park in Victoria. 1. 470 mm. 2. 133 mm.. 1948-1949
1. Fair. Very discoloured. Quite tattered and torn. Stained. Some great adverts for Coca Cola inside, also adverts for Marchants Soft Drinks, Brockhoff Biscuits, Hoadley's Violet Crumble, Monbulk Jams, pretty much all the healthy stuff! Even an advert for Sawyer Bros. Dairy in Box Hill. Very interesting piece of scouting history. 2. Very Good. Some foxing to the edges. A bit discoloured. A great piece of scouting history.
