Near Mint. On the top of the back lip is a kiln kiss and just below this are two small nicks of 3 x 2 and 2 x 2 mm. Coming down from this area is the finest of glaze hairlines of about 20 mm in length. The only other marks to mention are from manufacture. There are some fine firing cracks and the like spread around. Some tan glaze has dripped and speckled on to the top of the tap hole. A glaze flake to base edge under the tap. A making split as well. There is a little bit of wear under the base and some smudging to the glaze. Original tap including the cork insert. This one gallon Jar has been in the possession of a past worker from the brewery for at least the past 30 years. It is an absolutely prime example of Australia's most iconic Demijohn.
