F. R. Honey / Ginger / Beer / Midland Junction. Potters stamp: Illegible, but likely a Fowler stamp. (Western Australia) Ginger Beer Crown Seal Two tone, tan top, off white body. Black print. 13 oz. 184 mm. 1920s
Good. 11 x 4 mm horseshoe hairline to front left lip which has a little glaze flake at the top part of it. 10 x 4 mm chip to the right of this. Some wear with a few nicks to the remainder of the lip. Right shoulder has what I thought was a hairline, but looks like a scratch on inspection. Some shoulder fine wear. Sliver flake under right base edge is likely a pottery pull. Some wear around the shoulder region to the upper body glaze, another thin band towards the base. Some scratches including a dark scuffed scratch down the right rear. Little pinpricks and lumps throughout make this look a bit dirtier than what it is, but these are actually making marks. Quite a hard bottle to get. Grade: 6.4 Estimate: $100 - 150
