Very Good. Stained throughout. Scratches, there is a dark scuffed scratch to the left side. Fisheye to base edge. Scuffs, some little impact marks and the odd nick or two. Nice early chemist, this company also had a rectangle pot lid. HW Potts was born in Northumberland in 1855, he was high up in the agricultural societies and the dairying industry, and even became principal of the Hawkesbury Agricultural College in 1902. He retired in 1920. He also had a chemist shop in Euroa, in 1892 he was listed there, late of Melbourne! This bottle is from his earlier Melbourne days, likely in the 1880s.
