Pair of Tasmanian labelled poisons: 1. Cobalt triangular poison, base mark: 8 / Rd / 469164. Original label: Camphorated Oil, A. P. Miller & Son, cnr Liverpool and Murray Streets, Hobart. 2. Not To Be Taken rectangle poison in recessed panel. Label: Dr Erasmus Wilson's Celebrated Hair Wash. F B Wilkinson & Co Chemists, 108 Elizabeth St., Hobart. Poison Cobalt 1. Applied top, spun finish. 1. Near Mint. Still has the cork with the paper over the top, can see some writing on this to do with Burroughs, Wellcome & Co, which these poison bottles were made for. Nothing to mention condition wise for the bottle. The label is quite stained, looks like some of the camphorated oil may have spilt on it when used. Nice piece of Tasmanian chemist history. 2. Very Good. Poison itself is unusual in that it has a recessed panel, they do not normally. Very fine fracture to left shoulder. Some inner crud. Right side near base has a fracture.
