Tin tray showing the Governors of New South Wales from 1788-1938. 150 Years of Progress. New South Wales Coat of Arms in the middle. To the rear: Designed and distributed by Cranston Trading Co. Australia House, Sydney. Printed by Richard Hughes Pty. Ltd., Sydney. Tins Tray Commemorative tray for the NSW 150 year celebrations showing all of the Governor's from 1788 to 1938. 444 mm long. 1938

Very Good. A rare tray, this is in good condition for its age. The paint has flaked off the upper rim in the lower left region, there are scratches through the paint on this rim elsewhere. The upper right looks a little bent. The all important body of this tray with the governors is quite good. There are some discoloured spots. Some scratches through the paint and some flakes as well. These are relatively small, all of the print is unaffected. Some possible spots of surface corrosion showing through as discoloured spots, this may just be wear. Quite good underneath. Evidence of a few minor dints. Some minor wear and scratches to be found. I have been told that this is a rare tray, I have not seen one before, but not being a collector of these things I cannot be certain of rarity. My searches have come up blank though, so I feel this may be a very rare piece indeed. Grade: N/A Estimate: $350 - 400
