Flint glass sample Violin Pickle. Pontil mark to base. Goldfields Pickle Violin shape. Wide mouth. Applied rolled lip. Clear. About 3 oz. 121 mm. 1840s-1850s
Excellent. Polished. Has been cleaned beautifully with almost perfect surface detail remaining. Cloudy under the fold of the rolled lip. An amazing little piece. Pontil mark to the base. No real issues to report. Don't recall seeing one of these small Violin shapes with a wide mouth, let alone in flint glass as well. Great bottle. Grade: 8.8 Estimate: $$400.00 - $500.00
