Dark Olive Green Truffle Jar. Deep punt to base. Black Glass Truffle Conical shape. Very crude applied top. About 5 oz. 160 mm. 1840s-1860s
Excellent. Is slightly dull and has a few scratches and scuffs in patches. There is a V shaped 3 x 2 mm mark on the inner lip almost like it has been cut in deliberately. The top is so crude, there are some smooth parts to it that could be slightly ground down chips but then they fit in with the shape and style of the top so it is very difficult to say.
