Very Good. Loosely translates to St George Patron of Knights or Protector of Knights. Small flake to inner lip. Couple of nicks to outer lip edge. Shoulder edge has a few tiny nicks. Some wear under base. Cut edge from making is a little wider at one spot, likely from making. Wonderfully detailed lid. Insert of lid is a white plastic, could be selluloid? This was invented in the late 1800s, so the jar may date around there somewhere. Grade: 7.7 Estimate: $$20.00 - $30.00
