Good. This would have had a wicker basket, this is no longer in place as can be seen. Two lip chips have been repaired, one at the front is about 40 x 16 mm, then another on the right is about 20 x 14 mm, there may be one or two other small flakes repaired as well. The paint job is not the best, you can still see much of the white filler used for the repair underneath. Some lacquer must have been applied over this and over the neck to blend it in at some stage, this has a clear effect that is quite obvious in places around the shoulder. The body is obviously unglazed from making, it does have some stains and discolouration. Impression is strong. A solid example, could do with a better lip paint job. Grade: 6.4 Estimate: $150 - 200
