Good. Tiny flake to inner lip. Some grime which will clean off. Fine impact mark to right shoulder below the potters mark has a glaze hairline towards the handle over 20 mm, one up towards the front lip over about 20 mm as well, and then another hairline bordering on a crack which is discoloured coming down from it over about 120 mm before curving to the front and running horizontally as a fine hairline over about another 100 mm or so. There is a leg at this change of direction which goes out about 30 mm. Some spots of wear to the glaze. Some discoloured spots. Some minor scratches. Handle is in great nick. A rare demijohn which looks great on display with the hairline mostly to the side. Grade: 6.5 Estimate: $200 - 250
