Pair of Household Bottles: 1. Anderson / & Robertson. Base Mark: Dot. (Adelaide, South Australia) 2. Sauceard. Base Mark: 1183. (South Australia) Household Various 1. Herringbone pattern. Applied double collar top. Aqua. 5 oz. 2. Applied top, spun finish. Amethyst. 1/2 Pint. 213 & 124 mm. 1880s & 1900s
1. Very Good. Dull and stained all over. Some scratches and scuffs. Small impact bruise to front base edge. Some surface etching scattered around. Pretty solid example of a scarce, early South Australian salad oil. (7.0) 2. Very Good. Stained throughout. Nibbled scrape mark to front right shoulder. Another nibbled scrape to front base edge. A few scratches and scrapes elsewhere. Some scuff marks. A few little impact marks. Deepish scratched mark to front lower neck. I have listed this as South Australian, but do not know for sure. The vendor is from SA, and the only advertising I can find is from the 1900s in a range of SA newspapers for Yeatman's Sauceard. I cannot find any other information on Yeatman though to verify where the firm was located. (7.5). Grade: N/A Estimate: $40 - 60
