1. Fair. This has been burnt at some stage. The lip has associated pinpricks to the glaze. A little shoulder wear with a couple of little flakes. 20 x 5 mm flaked scratch to glaze at rear. Very dark smoke stain throughout. Some glaze nicks scattered around. A bit of rust stain in places. Not sure this would clean up, it will certainly take a lot of work? This is the first one we have sold though. 2. Very Good. Some minor lip wear. The upper shoulder has an odd grime on it, I thought for a while it was repaired but it looks good on close inspection. The front left shoulder does have a spot that looks like fine wear. A few short scratches around the shoulder and little flakes. Patch of wear through glaze to mid left body. Some wear and scrape type marks to base edge. Some wear in places around the body. Small chip under front base heel. A few glaze nicks to be found. Variation to the other one with a different makers mark. Grade: N/A Estimate: $50 - 75
