Very Good. The ground lip has chips around it and some flakes. These are all hidden by the original lid. Some grime which will clean off with a damp cloth. Scratches scattered around. The print is quite good. The top of Arnotts has lost the red colour. Some other fading, and a few scratches to the print. The metal lid has plenty of wear through the plating leaving a rusty look, this is a surface type rust and not pitted. Base has a little wear through the plating on the ridges as well and some scratches and marks too. Really solid example of this early jar, these are quite rare. The blue print example is rare but seems to be more available than this red print example which has more writing. Grade: 7.3 Estimate: $500 - 750
