Very Good. Fascinating set of wax cylinders from the formative days in playing music. These include: Contralto; Accordion Solo, Medley of Reels; Harry Champion, Out Went the Gas; Billy Williams, There's a girl wanted there; Talking auction sale of a musical instrument store; Sing me to sleep; cylinder is chewed at top but casing says Sister; Bonnie Mary, O'Glengary; Florrie Forde, A picture no artist can paint; Tenor, Seems to me I've always loved you; Dixie Minstrel's (the cylinder inside is broken); Pat Malone forgot that he was dead; T. Woottwell, The little shirt my mother made for me and Tenor, Let me hear the band play "The girl I left behind". The cylinders are good unless mentioned. The covers are all a bit worse for wear with stains, discolouration and fading. Some upper labels are worn, torn or missing, some are written in pencil. Regardless, an interesting selection of early records from the James A. Lerk collection. Grade: N/A Estimate: $75 - 100
