Excellent. Some grime. A few scratches and minor marks. To the left above the handle is a metal fitting around a hole, this seem to be from making. Around to the front from this is another one that has been plugged with a metal cap. There is some shallow flaking around this. A few minor making splits. Not sure the lid is original for this piece as it has a 2 on it, not a 3. However, it fits OK and has the same toggle marks, so is the same pottery. There is a chip to the outer rim. Some grime and minor marks. A very interesting piece of pottery, likely a Fowler made piece with Mauri Bros & Thomson being an agent that often used them. This is just that little too big to fit into our large Australia Post boxes, and so a courier will need to be arranged or local pick up. Grade: 8.1 Estimate: $75 - 100
