Excellent. There are little chips and flakes all around the edge of the lip but the nature of these lips is that at least some of these will be from making. A bit of stain in the back and base. Some scratches down the back. A dull spot or two. Nice large and well struck seal. Australian found, it appears most of the Lognac claret came in to Melbourne during 1864 & 1867 although the wine itself could be vintages from the 1850s. Grade: 8 Estimate: $100 - 150
