B. B. A / S in a diamond. Deep punt to base. (Attributed to Bryant Brewing Association, Stawell, Victoria) Beer Ring Seal Applied top, tooled finish. Green. 26 oz. 289 mm as is. 1900s
Poor. As you can see this has no top! This is one of those very rare occasions when we will sell a broken bottle, but there is a reason for this! BBA, S beer bottles are attributed to the Bryant family of Stawell, although this is not definitive. Their ring seal beers are quite sought after, with the initials in a circle on the shoulder! As you can see, this has the initials in a diamond on the body, we have never seen one before! There is a tiny flared out bit of lip there, so this should be a relatively straightforward repair, leaving a great shelf example of an unknown bottle. Inner dirt will clean out. Some stain in places, although this is mostly shiny to the front with most of the stain to the rear. Some scratches and minor marks. Grade: 0 Estimate: $40 - 60
