Old / Cognac (On applied seal). Base mark: Pontil. Wine Cognac Applied string rim. Applied seal. Shouldered. Clear. 26 oz. 262 mm. 1850s
Excellent. Large bubble inside is at the surface. Little flake at front base edge. A few dark scratches at base edge. Some minor scratches to be found. This is a Flint Glass cognac, these are quite early and light in weight. It is hard to get an undamaged one with no seal, but to get one complete with the seal is a rarity indeed. A lovely piece of glass. Grade: 8.3 Estimate: $400 - 500
