Group of Royal Memorabilia: (King George VI and Queen Elizabeth) / Souvenir of their majesties' visit / 1949. No base mark. Pair of Royal Memorabilia Trays: 1. Queen Elizabeth. 2. Prince Philip. Royalty Trays both seem to be aluminium, with print mounted under glass. 3. Clear glass with white applied writing. 160 mm across & 114 mm. 1949-1950s
1 & 2. Both are Very Good. Prince Philip's tray has a chip to the glass. Some spotty stain to the tray itself. A few flakes to the glaze on the Queen's tray, similar spotted mark to the tray itself. 3. Excellent. Interestingly, this visit never occurred! Due to the ill health of King George VI, the visit was cancelled. A bit of grime that should wash off easily enough. Just a scratch or two to be found. Grade: N/A Estimate: $30 - 40
