C. R. Moore / Daylesford // Established 1862 / Trade (Pigeon in a Circle) Mark. Base: M. (Victoria) Aerated Water Codd All Way Pour. Applied top. Aqua. 10 oz. 237 mm. 1900s
Very Good. Firstly, do not confuse this with the common C. R. Moore & Co codd bottle, this is the earlier version with true applied top, the word lemonade is not on the rear and there is no & Co on this earlier example. Much rarer, we have never sold one of these! There is some faint surface haze in places. Small flake to base heel. Some fine scuffs and scratches. Great embossing has some very minor marks. A few little impact marks. Some scratches to the inner neck. Small burst bubble to inner chamber on one side. A lovely example really of this rare bottle. Grade: 7.6 Estimate: $150 - 200
