S. P. Thornton / Lithgow // Trade Mark / (Galloping Horse) / Unapproachable / Regd. Smooth base. (New South Wales) Aerated Water Codd Niagara type. Spun finished top. Aqua. 10 oz. 222 mm. 1920s
Very Good. Possibly has been oiled internally at some stage. Some scuffs and scratches scattered around, nothing deep, just enough to give it a dull appearance in places. Small flake to the pronounced seam on one side. A bit of wear to the words trade mark at the top. Some nibbles to a few other letters and some fine wear to the horse. Couple of tiny nicks to base heel. Not a bad example, the horse goes right across one side, so it is a big trade mark, a nice bottle. Grade: 7.5 Estimate: $50 - 75
