1. Good. 7 x 4 mm chip to side lip. Nibbled wear to outer lip. Oiled internally. 5 mm fracture to base edge. Two fine bruises under the base heel. Couple of nicks to base heel. Couple of spots of wear. Some scuffs and scratches scattered around including some wear to the embossing. (6.7). 2. Very Good. H & G Simonds Ltd was a brewery founded in Reading, Berkshire, England in 1785 by William Blackall Simonds. The company amalgamated with Courage & Barclay in 1960 and dropped the Simonds name after ten years. Spot of inner stain to lower right will likely wash out. A few fine fisheyes. Some scratches and the odd scuff mark. Couple of short deep scratches. A nice looking pictorial coloured crown seal. (7.7). 3. Very Good. Tiny flake to front lip. Right rear outer lip has a nibbled flake which is small. A bit of surface haze in places. Some nibbles to the seam above the base edge. Little nick to left seam near base edge. Little surface impact to left lower shoulder. Some fine scuffs and scratches. Nice embossing, some little flakes and nibbles to it. A nice example, I think this is a scarce bottle. (7.4). 4. Very Good. A few little nicks. Some scuffs and scratches. A few spots of wear to some of the embossing. (7.6). Grade: N/A Estimate: $60 - 80
