Peabody's Evening Star Kerosene. Garagenalia Box Wooden box, printed one end, plain sides. About 540 x 250 x 390 mm. 1930s
Fair. This has been opened from one of the sides, so is missing that side, but still has the top and bottom. When checking the print, I noticed at the top a chipped section through the A, but the A was still printed within the chip - but by texta! Then I checked the rest of the writing, and it all looks like texta to me! I am unsure if this was simply highlighted, or made from a plain box, but am leaning towards it being plain prior to the texta work. Wood has knocks and marks, splits and a panel or two are a bit loose as well. Looks the part, but keep in mind this is printed witrh a texta. Grade: N/A Estimate: $10 - 20
