1. Very Good. 29 x 11 mm flake chip under base heel. 10 x 6 mm flake to base edge. Couple of little blow outs. Small flake or two to sharp shoulder edge, amongst some fine wear. An exceedingly crude piece, the upper lip has a kiln kiss on it, whatever caused this pushed that side of the lip down so that it is on a large angle now, the shoulder below this off to the left also has a small kiln kiss. The glaze has a pinprick effect throughout. A wonderful piece of early pottery, likely Australian but totally unmarked, unfortunately. 2. Excellent. Some grime. Some minor scuffs and scratches. A few minor spots of wear to the embossing. Grade: N/A Estimate: $30 - 40
