Unusual skinny smaller sized World salad oil with embossed globe. Base Mark: (Dot). Goldfields Salad Oil Applied top, flared lip. Four bulbous petals to shoulder. Flared out base. Aqua. 5 oz. 263 mm. 1850s
Very Good. Lip fold from making. Stained internally. A little haze externally, but quite shiny in general. Some scuffs and scratches. Tiny scrape or nibbled spot to right base edge. A good example of what I feel is quite a rare bottle. This is not the standard small size version, this is somewhat skinnier and would have held less again, so a distinct size variation - even though it is not shorter it is a smaller capacity bottle. Grade: 7.6 Estimate: $200 - 250
