Pair of Goldfields Salad Oils: 1. Coward's Salad Oil. No base mark. 2. Christmas Tree Salad Oil. No base mark. Goldfields Salad Oil Applied top. Aqua. 7 oz. 213 & 201 mm. 1850s
1. Very Good. Stained throughout with a slightly etched feel. Discoloured scratch on one side. Some other scratches and spots of rust. Not sure where it came from, but these I believe are known as Coward's Salad Oils. 2. Near Mint. Some grime and spots of dirt which will clean out easily. A couple of small spots of rust. Tiny nick to lip edge. Just one or two scratches and tiny scuffs. Lump of glass to base from making. You won't see many in better condition than this. Grade: N/A Estimate: $70 - 100
