Pair of Half Gallon Fruit Jars: 1. American / (Eagle holding Flag) / Fruit Jar. 2. Federal / (Furled Flag) / Fruit Jar. (Australia) Household Jar Lightning or Bail type. Ground lip. Aqua. Half Gallon. 242 & 238 mm. 1890s-1900s
Both are Very Good to Excellent. Both a bit dirty, dusty and grimy. Rust around the neck of the Federal and a bit of rust lower down the back. Both have haze, minor marks, little flakes around the ground lips. Overall a nice attractive pair of Australian preserving jars. No lids or bails etc. Grade: N/A Estimate: $70 - 100
