Pair of Samples: 1. (Lion in a circle). No potters mark. 2. Tiny stoneware all white ink bottle. Sample/Miniature Various 1. Gin. Handled, salt glaze. 1 oz. 2. Ink bottle. All White. 1/2 oz. 100 & 59 mm. 1890s-1900s
1. Excellent. Shallow flake to inner rear lip. Another tiny nick or two to inner lip edge. A few tiny spots of surface rust. Really very little in the way of other marks. Different to the usual sample sized geneva bottles in that this is not a Bols, it simply has a lion trade mark. A very unusual and nice item. 2. Near Mint. The pouring lip region has been formed crudely, the marks are from making with at worst a tiny nick. A few little dark spots and a couple of dints from making. A superb, tiny piece.
