Pair of Codds: 1. John Fletcher, Warrnambool, Crown trade mark. M base. 2. Mackey, Kalgoorlie, Globe trade mark. Made in England, Dan Rylands on the back, M on base (although maybe just for Mackey, doesn't quite look like a Melbourne M from this era). Fletcher is Very Good. A bit hazy. Small nick under the front base edge. Some scratches and scuffs. Nice early one with applied top and curved Warrnambool embossing. The Mackey is Good. Stained throughout with a bit of etching to the surface mainly down the left side. A couple of nibbles to the lip. Nice little bottle. Grade: N/A Estimate: $70 - 100
