Pair of Uranium glass Soda Syphons: 1. J. S. Rowley, Warrnambool, pyramid shape in Turquoise. 2. Rowlands, Ballarat, Melbourne, Sydney with Miner & Farmer. (Victoria & New South Wales) Aerated Water Soda Syphon Round & Pyramid. Turquoise & Lime Green (both glow under black light). 30 oz. 317 & 303 mm with spouts. 1910s-1920s
The Rowley is Poor. The top comes off easily and apart from some surface bruises and marks to the shoulder the main part of the Syphon looks ok. BUT the base is badly damaged with deep bruises and cracks. The Rowlands has the top on tightly. Very Good. With some small bruises at the heel and some haze inside. Interesting pair.
