Premier Aerated Water Company / Ginger / Beer / Launceston. Potters Mark: Pinnacle / Brand. (Tasmania) Ginger Beer Cork Stoppered Dump shape. Tan top. Black print. 10 oz. 173 mm. 1910s
Good. Some shallow upper lip chips and flakes have been repaired, they blend in quite well so hard to see how much has been repaired, but it does not come down far at all, and you can still see some original upper lip, so not all the way around either. Left rear lip has a glaze hairline. Scrape mark just through the glaze to the front left shoulder. Kiln kiss to left upper body, looks like this may have been ground over a bit and repainted in the immediate vicinity for some reason. A few flakes around the base edge have been expertly repaired as well, again I can't tell how many, but they certainly do not come far up the body so likely potters pull type marks. These seem to mainly be to the right and rear. A few spots of wear through the glaze to the body including amongst the stamp. Discolouration. A solid example of a rare bottle, this is the first one we have sold. Grade: 6.6 Estimate: $200 - 250
