Pair of different "George Whybrow" pattern Goldfields era pickles Goldfields Pickle Fancy ridged pattern repeated four times around the jars. Applied tops. Aqua. Pint. 203 & 177 mm. 1850s-1880s
The taller pickle has a W and Dot on the base. Excellent. Polished. Has been nicely polished leaving good detail and only minor marks and some spotty haze to be seen. The shorter wide mouth jar is Very Good, Polished. It has smoother surfaces. Slight haze inside. Minor marks around. Lovely pair of jars. Grade: N/A Estimate: $30 - 50
