T. J. Sheekey / Registered / (Lady with Key and Shield with the TJ Initials) / Trade Mark / Yass. Base Mark: (Cross). (New South Wales) Aerated Water Codd Dobson or Four way type. Spun finished top. Aqua. 10 oz. 238 mm. 1910s
Very Good. Polished. This is a harder to get version, the lady is skinner and taller, and the shield is taller and more upright - it is quite noticeable when side by side with the normal version. Also, this has a large cross as the base mark. A few little impacts around the lip including a small discoloured one to lower front lip. Some fisheyes still to be found which are a tad discoloured in places. A good polish job, embossing is still mostly crisp. Remains of a few fine scratches and little impact marks. Small patch to rear where you can see evidence of some preparation work prior to the polish, probably removing a surface fisheye or two. Little flake to one of the letters and a few other nicks to the embossing. A nice bottle, very hard to get in this style. Grade: 7.3 Estimate: $200 - 250
