Flared lip goldfields oil with neck ring and heavily embossed diamond pattern over body. Base Mark: Deeley / (British Registration Diamond) / Stourbridge. (United Kingdom) Goldfields Cordial Applied top, flared lip. Neck ring, below which is 10 vertical bulged ribs over the shoulder down to heavily embossed diamonds across the body to the base. Excellent. Some scratches and scuffed areas here and there, mostly on the outer parts of the extensive embossing. This all blends in very well. A few little nicks and fisheyes to be found. A couple of fine streaks in the glass are from making. Usage wear under the base heel. Made in an interesting manner, the body is a three piece mould with three distinct seams up the body evenly spaced. A wonderful and rare item, one of three different Deeley, Stourbridge bottles on offer in this auction. Grade: 8.2 Estimate: $1750 - 2000
