Pair of Goldfields Mustards: 1. Goldfields mustard with square dotted label space to upper body. No base mark. 2. Goldfields mustard bottle with open pontil to base. Goldfields Mustard Applied top. Aqua. 1/2 Pint. 220 & 173 mm. 1860s & 1840s
1. Very Good. Impacted chip mark under base with a bruise from it totalling about 8 x 8 mm. Some inner dirt and maybe fine haze. Up from one of the chamfered corners are two sliver flakes side by side. Some scratches. An early bottle that likely held mustard. 2. Excellent. Neck inclusion has no damage. Shoulder scuff on one shoulder. Little nick to one corner towards lower body. Some spots of surface grime that will clean off. A few little surface bubbles. Some fine scratches and minor marks. Fabulous open pontil under the base. This is a great and early item with the broken tube pontil. Grade: N/A Estimate: $50 - 75
