Excellent. Really great example for an early syphon. Has some soda stain inside and general usage wear outside. Nice strong wheelcut name. Early and rare. (Note the glass straw inside is broken but easily replaced). George Lyon ran a Soft Drink factory and the Spring Creek Brewery in Beechworth from 1869 to 1885. He moved to the Melbourne suburb of Windsor in July 1885 and despite ill health continued to run a soft drink factory there until near his death in 1891. Grade: 8 Estimate: $200 - 300
