A. Bugden / Coraki. No Base Mark. (New South Wales) Aerated Water Codd Applied top, spun finish. Four way pour Dobson style patent with four dimples. Aqua. 13 oz. 225 mm. 1910s
Very Good. At first glance the lip is quite damaged - BUT, this is not the case at all! Possibly the crudest lip I have ever seen on a codd bottle, it almost looks like a pouring lip. Folds and dints throughout the lip are all 100% from the manufacturing process. There are some fisheyes around the upper body and base region with a few scattered across the mid body as well. Some scuffs and scratches. Tiny impact surface flake or two. One of three variations of Bugden codd in this auction, all of which are very hard to get. This is from a small town in northern New South Wales. Grade: 7.5 Estimate: $150 - 200
