Not sure how to grade this? Lets go with Very Good! Some wear to outer lip with a few glaze flakes and a small chip to the left outer lip. A bit of wear to the inner lip edge. That's about all that is wrong with this bottle. Oh, there is the tiny mark to the base edge, but that is nothing to consider, is it? My difficulty in grading this is that the obvious mark is from making, it is a LARGE chip of about 35 x 24 mm and deep, but has been glazed over in the manufacturing process. There is a small flake to the edge of this chip. Thin flake to rear base edge is a potters pulls. Some dints to base edge are from making. Scratch to shoulder is just through the glaze. Some other scratches and minor marks. A rare item, in reality this is not too far from the way it was actually made, so a decent example. Grade: 7 Estimate: $500 - 750
