Heavy cobalt globular bottle on three applied feet. Glassware Decanter Heavy cobalt globular bottle on three applied feet. 285 mm. 1880s
Very Good. Upper lip is polished, as per manufacture. Applied lip ring is thick, at one end there is a blob that folds under, this looks like an inner fracture but is just a fold. Some inner stain. A bit of surface grime externally, or possibly light haze. Bottom of one foot is ground, this would be from making to enable it to stand up properly. Some scratches and fine scuffs. Not sure what this actually was, but it sure is a lovely piece of glass! Grade: 7.6 Estimate: $50 - 75
