Square pickle with three ribs to shoulder on two sides and oval panels to body on three sides. No base mark. Goldfields Pickle Applied top. Aqua. 1 Pint. 223 mm. 1850s
Excellent. Odd dinted lip looks like it was pushed in a bit when it was still malleable. Capsule around the neck. Some light water type stain in places inside which should soak out. Scuffed scratch across one panel, this is not deep. 6 x 5 mm bruise to one corner near the base. Some light scratches and minor marks. A superb looking example of this interesting style goldfields pickle. Grade: 8 Estimate: $50 - 75
