Good. Richard Midgley founded the Alpha Cordial Works in Mildura in around 1889, in circa 1924 the business was sold to T. Currey & Sons who retained the Alpha trade name. So, this bottle either pre-dates 1924, or Midgley went out on his own afterwards? Stained throughout. Some nibbles around the lip and a spot of deep wear to the outer left lip. 15 x 8 mm milky bruise to right base edge, there is a smaller 4 x 3 mm bruise next to this. Little fisheyes and impact marks scattered around. Scuffs and scratches throughout, a few deeper scratches as well including some around the lip. Quite a rare bottle, this is the first we have handled. Grade: 6.4 Estimate: $50 - 75
