Large mould pottery mug with raised fernleaf design. (Australia?) Pottery Australian Large round mug. All white. Handled. Five raised fernleaves around it. Pint. 105 mm. Late 1800s-1900s
Very Good. Stained. Crazing. Some nibbles and glaze wear around. A few short hairlines around the rim. Unusual piece, we presume Australian pottery as it turned up in Victoria but really have no certainty about that. Crudely made, the handle has in fact been applied over the bottom edge of one of the fern leaves. Interesting piece. Grade: 7 Estimate: $30 - 40
