Large pinch waisted decanter with gold incised print for Dewar's Perth Whisky. Polished pontil to base. Scotch thistle stopper. Spirits Whisky/Whiskey Applied, rolled lip. Pinch waisted. Incised gold print. Clear. 1/2 gallon. 300 mm without stopper. 1880s
Very Good. Some fine inner haze. Flake from polished pontil in mid base would be from making. Usage wear to base. Some making splits to inner lip edge. Lovely print. Stopper has flakes and nibbles around, quite flaked to the inner part that goes inside. Looks to be quite early, and certainly is quite large! Grade: 7.7 Estimate: $100 - 150
