Includes a supplementary index of Non-personal references done by the then Secretary of the Geelong Historical Society - W. J. Morrow. A card included is also signed by W. J. Morrow in his role with the Geelong Harbor Trust Commission sending this copy of the book to Mrs Norris 310 mm. 1955
Rare book. There is a note pasted in to the back from the publisher that the binding is experimental and lacks adequate strength but has been accepted by the buyer on that basis. While there is some wear and splitting to the spine and cover the binding itself seems to have held up pretty well. The contents look to be in Excellent shape. Very comprehensive as you would imagine. The original index is basically just people and some companies. Bill Morrow (http://zades.com.au/gandd/index.php/geelong/people/gdpeople/225-gdppl006) has typed up a non-personal index for this copy which would have been quite a feat but he did a lot of remarkable work for the Geelong Historical Society. Interesting to have the Harbor Trust card as well. All in all a wonderful item. Grade: N/A Estimate: $150 - 200
