Pair of Goldfields Pickles: 1. (Neptune in a circle). Double ring around neck. Round indent to centre of base. 2. Square Goldfields Pickle. T4 embossed near the bottom of one panel. Round indent to base. Goldfields Pickle 1. Square. Two rings around neck. Applied lip. Aqua. Very tall. Pint. 2. Square. Applied thin top. Aqua. Half Pint. 243 & 160 mm. 1850s-1860s
1. Very Good. Dull. A lot of scratches all over. 5 x 3 mm chip off the back lower edge. Near this are another couple of flakes around the edge of a burst bubble. Smaller burst bubble to one side. Solid example of an unusual pickle. 2. Good. 12 x 10 mm chip to the underside of the applied lip - looks like an inclusion here has "popped" a bit of glass out. Dull and stained with some swirled etching. Some really crude manufacturing marks. Unusual with the T4 embossed at the bottom of one panel and looks very early. Grade: N/A Estimate: $30 - 50
